MELINDA WHITAKER

Bio:

Melinda is the Supplier Delivery Performance Manager for North America at Alstom Transport, where she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the supply chain. With over a decade of experience in supply chain management and  procurement, Melinda has developed a strong expertise in supplier performance optimization and strategic sourcing.

Before joining Alstom, Melinda held various roles within retail, distribution and manufacturing sectors, where she honed her skills in supplier relationship management and operational excellence. She has a passion for leveraging innovative solutions to solve complex challenges within the supply chain landscape.

Melinda is currently the VP of Education for the ASCM Toronto Chapter and is an avid advocate for professional development in the supply chain field. She actively participates in industry conferences and workshops, sharing her insights on best practices in supplier delivery performance and strategic sourcing. Outside of her professional commitments, Melinda enjoys mentoring emerging supply chain professionals and engaging in community service initiatives that promote education and sustainability.
